The picture below depicts Mr. Arsen Ismailov with a long-time friend and IS Aviation adviser, Cosmonaut Igor P. Volk, who served as President of the National Aero Club of Russia and Vice President of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI). In recognition for his contributions as a test pilot and cosmonaut, Mr.Volk was awarded the title “Hero of the Soviet Union” on July 29, 1984. Mr. Ismailov’s circle goes beyond that of members of the Russian Exploratory Aviation and Space Programs, like Mr. Volk, Mr. Vladimir Dzanibekov, and Mr. Vladimir Remek; former Minister of Civil Aviation of USSR Dr. Boris. E. Panjukov, and equally notable – owners, directors and board members of major Russian airlines all form a network built on mutual respect and forged over decades of productive and ethical business proceedings.
Igor P. Volk was selected as a cosmonaut on July 30, 1980, flew as Research Cosmonaut on Soyuz T-12, the 7th expedition to Salyut 7. He was nominated as First vice-president of the Russian Cosmonauts Federation (RCF). Mr. Volk served as executive president of the RCF during 2003-2005.

Vladimir A. Dzanibekov is distinguished for having traveled five times in space, each for a different research objective.
Vladimir Dzanibekov commanded the following flights: Soyuz 27, Soyuz 39, Soyuz T-6, Soyuz T-12 and Soyuz T-13. In all he had spent 145 days, 15 hours and 56 minutes in space over these five missions. He had also performed two EVAs with a total time of 8 hours and 35 minutes.Mr. Dzanibekov is twice a Hero of the Soviet Union (by decrees of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 16, 1978 and of March 30, 1981), has five Orders of Lenin and an Order of the Red Star. He also has the Legion of Honor (Commandeur de la Légion d’Honneur) from France. Vladimir is also a Hero of the Mongolian People’s Republic and has the Mongolian Order of Sukhe-Bator. Mr. Dzanibekov is a honorary citizen of Gagarin, Kaluga (Russia), Arkalyk (Kazakhstan), Houston (USA).
